I purchased this saw and 3 cans of premixed Husqvarna fuel on 5-4-20 (and yes, the fuel is worth it I use it in the weed trimmer also.). My first impression of the saw was I like the weight of it, then filled with bar oil, and gas. Set the choke, push the primmer, and pull the chord...... and pull and pull for 20 minutes. Not a hint of wanting to start. Walked away disappointed. Forward to 5-5-20, set the choke, primed, pulled chord... 50 pulls and finally started, then immediately stalled before I could squeeze the throttle to get normal idle without choke. 28 pulls it kicked and stalled, walked away for 22 minutes. Came back to it, choke, primer, pulled 13 times started... squeeze throttle came off choke and continued to run ... MoreI purchased this saw to replace a Stihl 026. Repeated starting attempts and every time I went to set it down it stalled. 43 minutes of this I finally had a saw that would idle while I wasn’t holding it. Now, I can cut some pine up that didn’t weather the last storm we had.... that’s what I thought at least. Saw runs and cuts good, just don’t expect to set it down to move the branch you just cut with out it stalling and 7-8 pulls and the use of primer bulb to restart it.
